Agreeing to these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and the team that runs Watchanimee ("Watchanimee", "we", "us"). By using watchanimee.com, with or without an account, you agree to them and to our Privacy policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Who can use Watchanimee

You must be at least 13 years old, or older if the law where you live sets a higher minimum age for using online services on your own. Some series are rated for older audiences; the rating (for example PG-13 or R-17+) is shown on every series page, and you are responsible for choosing what is right for you. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian should review these terms with you.

Your account

You can watch without an account. If you create one:

• Give a real email address you can receive mail at, and keep it current.
• An account is for one person. Keep your password private; you are responsible for what happens under your account.
• Tell us at hello@watchanimee.com if you think someone else has access to it.
• Pick a display name that does not impersonate anyone, is not offensive and does not use someone else's trademark. We may change or reclaim names that break these rules.

You can delete your account at any time from your account page.

Video and third-party players

Watchanimee does not store video files on its servers. Episodes play in players embedded from third-party video services. Those services decide what is available, may show their own advertising and set their own cookies, and have their own terms and privacy policies, which apply when you use their players. We do not control their content, quality or availability, and a title can disappear if a provider removes it.

We aim to embed only content that the provider is authorised to make available, and we remove an embed promptly when we receive a valid notice (see DMCA / Copyright).

Community rules

Comments, reactions, chat and display names are public. Do not post:

• Harassment, threats, hate speech, or attacks on people for who they are.
• Sexual content involving minors, in any form, real or drawn. We remove it, end the account and report it to the authorities.
• Other people's private information.
• Spam, advertising, scams, or links to malware or to sites that distribute content without permission.
• Spoilers outside spoiler tags (wrap them in ||bars|| or tick "Contains spoilers").
• Anything illegal where you or we are.

Moderators may remove posts, mute chat, and suspend or close accounts that break these rules. You can report a post to hello@watchanimee.com.

What you post

You keep the rights to what you write. By posting it you give Watchanimee a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display, copy and format it so it can be shown on the site, for as long as it stays posted. You confirm you have the right to post it. Deleting a comment or your account removes it from the site; copies can remain in backups for a short time before they are overwritten.

Using the site fairly

Please do not scrape or copy the catalogue in bulk, re-host our pages, get around rate limits or security, run bots against comments or chat, overload the servers, or try to access accounts or data that are not yours.

Our name and design

The Watchanimee name, logo, design and code belong to us. Series titles, artwork and characters belong to their respective owners and are shown to identify the series.

Changes and availability

Watchanimee is under active development. Features can change, pause or end, and the site may be unavailable at times. If we make a significant change to these terms we will say so on the site (and by email if you have an account) before it takes effect; continuing to use the site after that means you accept the new terms.

Ending this agreement

You can stop using Watchanimee and delete your account whenever you like. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the law, or to protect other users; where it is reasonable we will tell you why.

Disclaimers

The site is provided "as is" and "as available". As far as the law allows, we make no promises that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or that any title will remain available, and we are not responsible for content provided by third-party players or posted by other users.

Limitation of liability

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data or lost profits arising from your use of the site. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD 50. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by contract, or liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the place where the operator of Watchanimee is established. If you live in the EU or UK, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country and can bring a claim in your local courts.
